3rd and 4th for me would come about 20 feet before the finish line in the quarter mile. It didn't exactly help because there wasn't enough left in the RPM range to keep going in 3rd and shifting into 4th would cause me to lose time. If a TT with an N/A rear end did that I assume they would do better because of the added HP and torque, causing them to either cross the line in 3rd or 4th with enough left in the rpm range to avoid shifting gears.
